Before transitioning into full-time ministry, Apostle Khy Traylor built a distinguished and highly successful corporate career as a senior Human Resources executive.
She served at the executive level, providing strategic counsel to C-suite leadership, including CEOs and CFOs, while leading large, multi-layered teams, navigating complex labor relations, and overseeing the development of thousands of employees nationwide.
Her corporate background includes serving as Regional Vice President of Human Resources for JPMorgan Chase, where she led major multi-state initiatives and advised senior leadership across diverse operational markets.
She also held senior human resources executive roles with Walt Disney Motion Pictures and Television, Live Nation Entertainment, and SBE Entertainment Group. In these roles, she operated as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and managed complex HR operations at scale. Notably, at Live Nation Entertainment, she oversaw human resources functions for more than 30 venues nationwide, supporting an employee population exceeding 3,000 team members.
Responding to a clear and compelling call of God, Apostle Khy intentionally stepped away from her corporate trajectory to devote herself fully to theological training and spiritual formation. She graduated magna cum laude from The King’s University and Seminary with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Theology and later earned her Master of Divinity with highest honors from Next Dimension University in Ontario, California.
Personal Life & Commitments
Apostle Khy Traylor is married to attorney and ordained minister Michael S. Traylor, Esq., and is the devoted mother of three adult children—Joshua, Jordan, and Jarah. Her family is a profound source of joy, strength, and passion, grounding her life and ministry.
Born and raised in Inglewood, California, Apostle Khy now resides with her husband in Atlanta, Georgia. She treasures time spent with family and friends in California, where much of her biological family resides. As well, with the Spiritual sons and daughters she has raised and continues to nurture in the faith.
Beyond ministry, she values meaningful connection with people and enjoys martial arts, dance, volleyball, live music, and a good suspense- or action-packed movie.
