Family & Community
Reverend Khy is the wife of attorney and author, Rev. Michael S. Traylor and the mother of three, adult children… Joshua (33), Jordan (27) and Jarah (22). Born and raised in the beautiful city of Inglewood, California, she now happily resides with her husband in their home of Atlanta, Georgia. Khy is deeply committed to the Lord and therefore extremely passionate about her work and about people. She loves helping individuals, organizations and churches exceed their greatest dreams and expectations
History
Prior to full time ministry, Reverend Khy’s professional career was also rooted in helping individuals and organizations as a human resources executive. She served as Regional Vice President of Human Resources for JP Morgan Chase and held other executive HR positions with some of the most intriguing brands in the Los Angeles area; including Walt Disney Motion Pictures and Television, Buena Vista Music Group and SBE Restaurant and Nightlife Group. During her tenure as Vice-President of Human Resources for Live Nation Entertainment, she had oversight for more than 30 venues nationwide and nearly 3,000 employees. In the midst of her professional success, the Lord called Reverend Khy into full-time Ministry. In awe and powered by sheer faith, she resigned from a promising and successful career to enroll as a seminary student.
Subsequently, Reverend Khy graduated magna cum laude from The Kings University and Seminary in Van Nuys, CA, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Theology. Later she went on to earn, with highest honors, her Master of Divinity Degree from Next Dimension University in Ontario, CA. While finishing school, she also completed an extensive training program under the tutelage of her Senior Pastor, Julius A Harper, which led to her ordination as a fully-commissioned minister and licensed reverend. Reverend Khy has an ongoing passion for education and continues to learn and grow through different opportunities of scholarship.

Reverend Khy highly applauds, her Senior Pastor (Rev. Julius A. Harper) and First Lady (Cecile) at Santa Clarita Christian Fellowship Church in Santa Clarita, California. She will tell you that her entire church family raised and matured her in her faith. Secondly, she thanks her biological family, close friends and loved ones who know her best and encourage her with brutal honesty and love. She is heavily influenced by her great-aunt and grandmother who served with Martin Luther King, Jr., and also founded a church in 1952, which is still a thriving and glorious ministry today. Numerous other pastors, professors, leaders and fellow-believers have blessed her with a unique combination of theology, practicality and wisdom.
Today, Rev. Khy spends most of her time as a public speaker, advisor, missionary and ministry leader. She enjoys counseling and preparing others to shine for the sake of God’s glory. She has preached to thousands and she has sought after the “one”; either way the Holy Spirit uses her in unprecedented ways. Rev. Khy has accolades upon accolades, she is the product of good training from a host of pastors, professors, theologians and “keep it real” friendships, but what most would say is that she is fun, relatable, relevant and full of love ! When she walks into a room, the light and love of God walks in with her.
